Misleading advertising
<p>I went for my upgrade on Sunday and was excited about the new Pinaccle contracts since it had the amazing cashback options... just in time for Xmas!</p> <p>To my dismay I soon discovered it was only for new contracts. I was very disappointed... The advertising was done poorly since in the past the buy out options clearly stated for new customers. The very first page on the December brochure shows the Cashback options and on page four it states "Switch to our new range of Pinaccle contracts" not change to Cell C... I wonder how many other people were fooled too?</p>

We are interested in all our customers and we value them equally. The new packages with cash back vouchers are not only for new customers, they are for existing customers too (please refer our T's and C's). However, existing customers have to open new lines to be able to benefit from these packages.

I understand that it is not just for new customers, but when you upgrade your contract, most often than not, you change your contract type... so hence the confusion. I wanted to change my contract to Pinaccle. In effect, an upgrade is the taking out of a new contract for 24 months, since the old one has expired. Technicalities...
