misinforming consumers

<p>On Monday 11 July 2016 I received the below message from Cell C.</p> <p>" As a Cell C Exclusive Customer, you get My DriveExec for FREE!<br />This Service gives you unlimited "DriveHome" benefits and 2 "Taxi Cab" rides per month absolutely Free for 7 months! Start using this service Now by calling ********** "</p> <p>On Saturday 16 July 2016, I called the number to make use of the offered My DriveExec service, to my surprise I was told that I need to first register. The lady I spoke to on the phone was Ronel Adams.</p> <p>No where on this message is there any mention of having to register or pay for the service, but upon registering, I noted that there is a fee.</p> <p>I believe that Cell C's conduct is *********, and misinforming to the consumer. Furthermore the conduct exposed me to a risk of getting arrested or getting into a car accident as I had a drink knowing that I would access a service that was offered to me as an additional service to my mobile phone contract.</p>
