MIsconduct

I called Cell C earlier in the month after I had to follow up with them for 4 days that they have received my payment. My account was R1644.00 and I paid them R1400.00 and made an arrangement to pay the outstanding R244.00 with my next payment. The consultant said that it would not be a problem. A day later my phone was disconnected and I had to call again and explain to a consultant and she assisted in a professional way. No i'm receiving emails and msg's that i'm ion arrears and that I will be handed over for non payment??? Can someone please explain to me why after making an arrangement i'm still getting this emails and msg's? What's the reason then of making an arrangement?
