Marketing Harassment from Cell C
I bought a new Cell C sim card a few months ago and I am currently a pre paid customer. I receive marketing and promo SMSes from Cell C daily and I have opted out countless times but still receive these SMSes. Cell C takes my airtime when I opt out but they DO NOT opt me out of there SMSes. I am considering changing networks because I am tired of being harrased by Cell C. I don't know what to do anymore, I have even opted out telephonically. Cell C has also sold my personal information to Platinum Life as I received a phone call from PL in the same week that I Rica'd the new sim card. And I have given NO permission to Cell C to hand out my info as they please.

No you did not. I just received another SMS. PLEASE REMOVE MY DETAILS FROM ALL YOUR MARKETING AND PROMO LISTS!!!!!!!!!!! I have opted out multiple times!! If this does not stop, I will escalate the matter to the ombudsman.
