Lies and poor communication
Good Day
I phoned in April requesting what an early upgrade will cost and the gent said +-R3000, which I declined. I then asked him when can i upgrade, he said I can upgrade anytime in May 2021. I then asked again and he stated yes in May 2021. When I went to cell c they told me I cannot upgrade at all. No I look like a idiot in the stores, wasted my time travelling to Menlyn, just to find out no I cannot upgrade.
I sent 2 email and complaint about this issue and want cell c to listen to the recording and rectify the error so I can upgrade as stated over the phone(084145) which I never received any response(very poor service), I also want to take out an additional cell phone contract with the upgrade.
Please assist in the upgrade and the new contract.

You reply to the new upgrade but no reply to the poor service nor the fact that I was mislead regarding the upgrade with no resolution, again poor service. Do not give false info if you cannot keep your end of the agreement.

Please accept our apologies for the miss communication. You still have 7 months remaining on your current contract with a commitment fee of R2,268.64. This amount is valid till the 31st of May (The amount decreases monthly and it excludes your current bill). You can upgrade anytime after paying the commitment fee or when there is three months remaining on the current contract.
We have submitted a request to check if an upgrade can be processed with 7 months still remaining. We will advise of the feedback as soon as received.

Please go and listen to the recording. I was informed that I can upgrade in May 2021, now with that said it is a verbal agreement from Cell C which must be adhered to and kept.
Please request for that recording\verbal agreement so that we can go ahead with the upgrade and the new contract.
