LATEST CELL PHONE ****

This **** seems to have reared its ugly head once again!!!! Someone claiming to be from Cell C or affilliated with Cell C telling me that I've qualified for a reduced monthly premium because I've been with the provider for a really long time!! It's actually a lot of ****!!! These people knew my birth date, as well as which contract I was on .... scary!!! What they are actually selling you is a separate "Value Added Service" *** for R150 - it has nothing to do with your Cell C contract - EVEN THOUGH THEY TELL YOU IT IS NOT GOING TO COST YOU ANYTHING EXTRA!! Number they called from ***. I contacted Cell C and they informed me that they were getting a lot of complaints about this. Unfortunately the call was cut and when I tried to phone back to tell them that I'm not interested at all - it just beeps once and goes dead. Was really challenging the lady on the line about it not costing me anything when the call was lost so I'm really not certain whether a debit order of R150 will go off my account or not - if it does, I'm just going to return it.
