Last straw...

I've been a Cell C customer for over a decade, but I have had enough now. First it was about a debit order that they didn't manage to get it right, and I eventually stopped fighting, and resorted to manually pay every month. Now it's about a recent upgrade whereby the cellphone device had a purple line on the side when we opened the box. I called Cell C for the device to be exchanged (as it was still within 7 day window period). The device was collected by the courier on the 2nd of August. Two weeks later when I did a follow up myself, I was told that I need pay just overt R800 because they found physical damage during their assessment. When I asked what physical damage, they said cracked screen! When the phone was collected by the courier, the only fault it had was a purple line on the right hand side. During Cell C's assessment (which took over 2 weeks)...cracked screen. I obviously rejected that quotation, and that was on the 21st. I haven't heard from them up to now.
