Lack of Customer Service and Arrogant Staff

Cell C Upgrade – No stock Available

Cell C phoned me and advised me that I am due for an upgrade, where I then proceeded and decided on the phone and I have been advised that the phone will be delivered 5 – 7 working days and was rather impressed with the service I have received but I should have known it’s too good to be true. Two weeks ago Cell C made a delivery to me consisting of a sim card and when I phoned to query why I have only received a sim card Cell C has advised me they have no stock of the phone I ordered. So, here is my problem if the sales consultant advised me there is no stock I would not have decided on this specific phone. Phoned the call centre last week for an update and Tsheiso in the follow up and activation department was less than helpful and the only answer I can get is delivery might take place 2 – 3 weeks which is unacceptable.

Cell C Double Debit

I added a Wifi Router to my account with Cell C and was not advised about the new line fee of R349.00 and to my surprize a debit went off my account. When I followed up with Cell C I was advised that this is the new line connection fee which the sales consultant should have told me about but to my surprize the 16th June 2016 another debit went off my account for the same amount and when I queried this I got advised that it was a mistake from Cell C side. I got a case number ********** 319 and when I phoned last week, Phindile advised me that I must phone my bank and get it reversed. This was not a mistake from my side and the fact that Cell C throws their hands up in the air and telling me it’s my problem and I must sort it out is unacceptable.

Confirming Delivery

To make matters even worst last week Thursday, Kathleen from the upgrade department phoned me to confirm delivery, when i asked her what they will be delivering she said the Iphone SE I ordered and I had to advise her that the Company your working for and phoning me to confirm delivery has NO STOCK and then she looked on the system and confirmed it. What was the use of the phone call in the first place?
