INVALID CHARGES AND PENALTY FEES
I have had an issue since last year.
I had called in to change my bank details. The agent said that he changed my details but it never changed. I had another agent tell me that he said the mandate shoukd appear on my phone immediately which neber happened and then he saod it will sbow up later after yhe call which never happened.
I have been making manual payments since last year, many times I would make a payment in advance which cell C which get, but your automated system request to debit me was already trying to debt me as well.
I have had so many late charges added to my account for successful payments you have received before the due date, your customer service confirms countless times they got the funds and its been allocated, but your automated system adds the late due to the automated debit system which can nit be stopped.
The right thing to do is to remove the fee lf 70.00
I am going to the ombudsman for this. You get your money on time. You have given me late fees of R70. 00 many times for money you get before the due date, logically and by law if you got your money before it is due, you can not add penalties to any account.
I want my late fee of 70.00 removed immediately before the 28 of February and a deep dive investigation for all my other 70 late penalty fees.
I'm going to the ombudsman if this is not resolved. I have had a today a phone call over 30 minutes today with cellc and nobody wants to remove the penalty fee
Your proof of payment team confirmed they got payment from me and allocated to my account, this email was received on the 28 January 2026, why must i pay a late fee of 70.00 in February.
