Internet connection is so slow and limited

I logged a network issue last Saturday via the Cell C App and I chose to do so because by giving the app access to my current location it gives them (Cell C) relevant information they can use to resolve my issue.

My issue is that I find it hard to connect to the internet on my smartphone and it's not something that started recently. My LTE connection is very weak and I can't even watch a YouTube video without any buffering. It also doesn't connect everytime I want to connect to the internet. Sometimes, I have to wait for a minute just for a simple webpage to load. Why am I experiencing that? I asked myself. I know that ISPs can limit your internet speed if you use it too much but in my case I don't, so why? That's the reason I logged the issue.

I logged it on saturday and the reference number is *** then earlier this week I received a call from one of their agents and they asked me what is the issue and I explained. They asked for my location and I explained they have that and they found it, I stay in KZN. They dropped the call and called after 30 minutes or an hour, they told me that I should enable roaming and switch from LTE/3G/2G to 3G/2G and see if that works because in my area LTE is not supposed, even if it worked it would be slow because they don't focus on my area. Which makes sense because if I'm in town I get very high speeds per second. So they said because LTE/3G is not working, Cell C has a roaming agreement with MTN and if I enable roaming as they stated, I shouldn't experience network problems.

I did as they told me to but I still experience the same issue. That means the roaming agreement with MTN is not working in my area. This whole experience makes me ask myself a lot of questions about inclusivity, access and the digital divide that exist in our society. I am so disappointed and if possible please escalate this matter to someone who can really do something about it.
