I Siyanda Manyathi hereby declare that I bought a cellphone(Huawei P9 Lite at R5299.00) on contract with Cell C at eJabulani Mall November 2016, where I also took the liberty of Insuring it. I was told that for a cellphone worth R5001 to R7500 is covered by R150. For twelve months I have curried the phone until one of the days (19 October 2017) I got ******. So I went and made claim to Cell C Insurance, only to find out that Cell C Insurance is only getting R69.00 from that R150.00 being deducted monthly from my bank account. They should have give me a cellphone worth its cover. My concern is where is the rest of that R79.00 being deducted going to..? If they deny the R150.00 paid to them monthly.
Currently I am not happy with the phone that they gave me because it is not worth it cover and it is also not relevant to the one I had before. Even the access fee that I paid was too much a R69.00 cover. I tried reasoning with Cell C Insurance they couldn't solve it. They refused to take the phone back and also refused to refund me the R79.00 extra on monthly bases since they are only getting R69.00 per month.
I have proof of everything on paper to be on the save side.
