Increase of Account

I am quite perturbed at a response I've just had from a cell c when I queried an increase of a R199 contract to R209. The lady explained that in my contract I signed is a clause that states that cell c may increase my contract at any time. I was quite shocked at her response and when I queried why it was not brought to my attention. She told me that I was suppose to read through the contract. REALLY?? That long fine printed contract that will take at least three hours to read. I pointed out that their consultants always stress the fact that we must be aware of the main points like the term of the contract so why do they not do the same with this very important factor because it is actually THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR. Her response shocked me beyond words. She said that Cell C's contracts fluctuate according to the markets!! imagine my shock..REALLY CELL C... I hope that we are not all as gullible as our parliament seem to be.... how does the market influence a cellular contract. This contract is 1 year old and for the 10 years I have been dealing with Cell C it is the 1st time it has happened and it is the 1st time I hear about such BS...wake up people... Cell C... what are u doing?
