I did write a review regardin whg my issue but still have not been sorted till date. I had a Cell C contract under my name prior to my current contract and the last two debit orders of the first contract did not go through. I was given reference numbers and the payments were made. Then I always got SMS's from lawyers stating that I am owing money on my Cell C contract. I did phone Cell C to query if I was outstanding with any funds on my account because I did get SMS's stating that I am owing money which I did make payment. The call centre told me that my current contract is up to date and I explained my situation and they checked my account and told me nothing was outstanding. I did go to Cell C in the Phoenix Plaza as I was still not sure and they also informed me nothing was outstanding. I showed them the SMS's and they told me it could possibly be a **** and that my account was up to date. The store advised me to contact the call centre which I told them I did. I was still not happy and decided to check another day because I always got SMS's stating that I am owing. I then decided to check my debit order and then noticed short payments went out. I realised that Cell C had taken the money which was meant to be paid for my old contract and put the funds to my current contract. I did phone the call centre to make an arrangement for Cell C to debit my account even though I was not at fault. I checked my debit orders the following month expecting a little extra to be debited from my account. I noticed after a few months that my debit orders were all the same. Eventually I did phone and spoke to a lady named Nelly Mamotethi. She asked me to email proof of payments so that she could assist me with my matter. I did email her and there was no response. I emailed a few times to the same email address asking for some feedback and nothing was done. I then get a call from a Cell C social media consultant named Theodorah and he contacted the legal department and got back to me and told me that I was to pay lawyers as I was handed over. I contacted the lawyers and made payments which was over a R1000 more than my initial amounts. There has been soo much miscommunication and I had to pay lawyers and get a bad credit review because of Cell C. I was willing to pay what was outstanding amount even though Cell C stuffed up yet I had to extra lawyers fees. I rather pay extra with another cellphone provider instead of sticking with a network provider who says the power is in your hands whereas I was left powerless
