Incorrect Listing once number ported
On 07 May 2019 my contract had expired, I settled my balance with Cell-C for the rest of the month, sent through proof of payment and a few days later (16 May 2019) ported my number to Vodacom.
Last month - February 2020 I find that I am listed for an amount by Cell-C on this number which has been with Vodacom for the last 10 months???
Firstly, a number cannot be ported if there are funds outstanding or if the contract has not been in force.
Secondly, I have had absolutely no communication with Cell-C regarding this.
Third and most frustrating : I have been calling the call center for days to try and resolve the issue and they keep putting me through to collections which eventually rings out. The music on the phone even comes to an end.
The number for collections: *** (option 4) does not work. You cannot dial this number so are forced to go back through the call centre. When you tell the call centre staff member that the number doesn't work the only response you get is öh, sorry about that"... They put you through and then you wait till the system drops the call.
I would like a consultant to contact me as a matter of urgency as I am incorrectly listed - *** - and yes, this is the number in question which has been with Vodacom for the last 10 months. Kindly listen to the voice recordings of the cancellation before calling me.
The service is atrocious!!!! No wonder customers are flocking away from your company.
