<p>Hi </p> <p> </p> <p>I have a wifi contract with cell c for R199 pm. The first month I got charged R199, the second month I got charged R425.86. I immediately contacted cell c, I was referred to at least 5 different "retailer stores" cause I was told my conract is a open line and all that ****. I eventually got so frustrated I called cell c customer care again, I gave the agent my id number and told her that I'm not speaking to anyone anymore you will assist me. I told her cell c debits my account every month, not jet, Edgar's or who ever the hell I was told to call, but they contacted me and I took out the contract over the phone. She eventually assisted me, told me that if I use the 5 gig data then I get charged extra, immediately after she told me this I said to myself this people is taking me for a ride.</p> <p> </p> <p>I asked the agent so if I don't use the data will I be charged the R199 only she says yes. So that was alarming to me because I have been told it's R199 for 5 gigs so why should I pay more if I use less then 5 gigs. The reason why I took the wifi was for my visitors. I don't use it.</p> <p> </p> <p>Anyway I have a contract with Vodacom as well where I get 10 gigs of data pm, my husband has the same contract but he hardly ever uses his personal phone cause he has a company phone with unlimited data and airtime so he uses his phone as a hotspot. I don't have kids it's only my husband and I. </p> <p> </p> <p>We unplugged the wifi we actually put it back in the box right after I spoke to that agent. However to my suprise I receive a debit order notification this morning. When I open it I see cell c when I look at the amount I see R425.86. NOW SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS BULL**** TO ME. How did "I" use the exact same amount of data that Was used last month when I didn't even switch on the wifi for this month, just because I wanted to prove to you that this service sucks I had to switch it off. </p> <p> </p> <p>I'm waiting for prompt response or I will seek advice from my attorney. </p>
