*********** service

I had taken out a data contract through Edgars with CellC @ R99. My first two installments went off perfectly and last month I got hit with a R325.85 deduction.

I phoned customer care only to be told that the consultant needed to explain to me that it was only R99 for a limited time period..

I received updated statements, but they merely reflect why my payment has now changed from R99.00 to R325.85, which is what the call centre agent already explained to me. My issue is still - The consultant selling this to me had me sign a contract for:
Smartdata 5GB - R174.56 + Device R199.00 - the R87.72 "discount" while I was under the impression that I was getting: Smartdata 5GB + the Device @ R99.00pm for the FULL 24 months

It appears that the costs mentioned forst was what the contract was for from the day of signing, but like I said, that was not mentioned to me at all. It was said to me that I would have an installment of R99.00 per month for the 24month time period. Nothing was said about limited time periods or the additional costs - a once off sim fee was charged extra on my first bill which I was informed about and happy with when signing.

Regardsless a query was sent in and more than a week later, after contacting an agent myself via email (who is now also ignoring my emails after promising to fix things) I got a message on my ****le saying that they attempted to contact me, after I told them to phone me on my other contact number as this is a data line. The message said that it had been tesolved, and the bill is back at R99.00 - only for my debit order to go off again this morning at R325.85!

Edgars/CellC can take the modem and simcard back, which is still their property but I feel that I cannot be held liable for the outstanding contract fees, if this was not explained to me when I specifically asked about my monthly installments before signing.
I can not afford to pay that much for a contract that I wasn't properly advised about.

I am not happy fix this!
