Incompetence

I was accused by cell c for owing money on a contract that was terminated on the 16th of October 2021 before I left the country to go work in the states. I followed up to check if the matter has been resolved and I got no response but now it's showing up on my credit score that I am 6 months in arrears. I have written proof from cell c that the contract was cancelled. I'm currently out of the country and my Sim card is damaged therefore I cannot receive any calls but only emails. Can they let me know what is going via email

Once this is resolved. I need a letter in an email that I can print to show to my future creditors that I did the right thing timeously when I knew I was leaving the country. I even paid my account in full. I'm not going to have a bad credit score simply because someone overlooked doing the right thing. It's minor details like this that get overlooked that end up tarnishing your name as a consumer
