INCOMETENCE GALORE

<p>My husband and I needed a faster internet service, Cell C was advertising so we went to them. we tested their wireless device but found that the upload and download speeds were almost as bad as what we were getting.</p> <p>We returned the device within three days of getting it from the store and when we wanted to cancel the contract they insisted that we could not, but said that a technitian must come through and check the device.</p> <p>A technitian phoned the next day to get more details and when I mentioned the area we lived in he imediately said that the area has bad coverage AND that we can return the device as nothing can be done. He also mentioned that we were still in the seven day cool off period of the contract so there should be no problem.</p> <p>We returned the device and the store manager assured us that it is a simple matter of cancelation by the store and that it should be sorted out within a day or two. We didn't need to pay anything and the device was taken by the store manager and we were given a acknowlegement of reciept.</p> <p>a week later we were debited R195 for Cell C service on the device. We queried this and the store manager assured us that the account was closed by her.</p> <p>A month later we were again debited, this time for R795 but when I asked the manager said that the account was terminated.</p> <p>Eventually I went to the store again and stood by while the store manager "cancelled" the account over the phone, she apologised and assured me that that was the last of the issue.</p> <p>This morning the 2nd of March 2017 I have just been debited over R1500 from Cell C.</p> <p>The store manager was very helpful and made every effort to be of service but Cell C is apparently totally inept and obviously have totally *********** staff.</p> <p> </p>
