Impossible to get through to a human being to sort out a billing problem.

I have a cell C router. I started a new job this year and my salary now gets paid in on the last day of the month as opposed to the 25th. I went into the Cell C branch at Richards Bay's Boardwalk mall and asked them to move the date, they moved it to the 15th as they said that was the closest and safest date they could use. Just after the 25th Cell C still tried to take the money out my account but there was insufficient funds so my internet was switched off. I then went into the branch again and was given an account to pay by eft and told emphatically that they would see I had paid and so not try and take another payment on the 15th. On the 15th, another payment was taken off my account. I tried phoning 084140 and 084145 only to get the most excrutiatingly long and painful, frustrating and useless voice prompts. It appears some ***** at Cell C decided that the best thing they can do is completely **** off anyone trying to phone their customer service. At then end all you can do is leave a voice message for them to get back to you - on the number you reported. It's a router! are these fools at Cell C now going to try and phone me back on my router? I do not have a Cell C phone and after today - I will NEVER get one. Darryl Roberts

Reviewer Update

I was phoned by a lady from Cell C today (18/02/17) and, what a patient and polite professional! Problem has been sorted out in just over 7 minutes. It makes a mountain of difference if you can speak to a human being instead of voice prompts. Thank you to the young lady that phoned me - you were great. Please include an option somewhere in you endless voice prompts that will take your customers to a consultant.
