Impossible to cancel my Cell C contract

I received an sms stating I am due for an upgrade, which I'd rather cancel due to bad signal and services. I was told at the Cell C shop in Waterfront, Bloemfontein to call 084 143 if I wish to cancel my contract. I called them twice (using the 2nd option when you call) and waited nearly 10 minutes. This afternoon I tried calling again and still after a few minutes no answer. I decided to choose option 1 when calling and immediately an assistant picked up. I told her about the cancellation department not picking up and she said she would put me through. She just put the phone down in my ear, so rude. <br> I just want to cancel my contract.
