******* increase on account limit

My data contract has a limit of R50 monthly with my cost totally R156 of which I signed for. R213 was deducted from my account at the end of November 2016. I enquired about it thorugh the contact centre and was told there was an increase to my limit without my consent and I requested for evidence in order for me to see who made this increase (ref no: ********** ********** 90). End of December R 213 was deducted again. January the 5th I went into the Menlyn store to make a follow-up. The staff members called in to enquire and apparently credit checks were done on customers and the increase was "Automatic" because my credit record was in good standing. I requested the staff to decrease it back to the limit I signed for. I would like to know if it is not ******* for service providers to "Automatically" increase our credit agreements without us customers being informed and agreeing to them?
