Illeagal Debit Amounts
I have several accounts with Cell C. I decided to reduce on the amount I pay them late last year. However after I had reduced, i noticed that the amount I pay them is still the same. I called them and they told me they were deducting money for a subscription service I purportedly subscribed to. I told them to cancel the subscription and to get a refund from the company. That was in December. I still noticed the same amount being deducted from my account and so I logged a ticket with WASPA and was issued with a ticket number ********** . I immediately received a cancellation confirmation. I am yet to get a refund though.
My problems with Cell C are numerous.
I have a don't subscribe policy on all my phones, how did I subscribe to the service. The said number is a modem number.
Secondly, I have a valid debit order contract with Cell C to the tune of R 300. How can that amount be increased to pay a third party whom I don't have a contract with? Isn't it ******* to change the debit order amount? Even if i had a subscription policy with that company, isn't it ******* for Cell C to pay them trough my account.
I have an out of bundle increment amount of R 1 because i don't want to pay extra. Likewise I have never requested for an airtime increment. The number in question is a contact number which means i cannot buy airtime and load into it, and yet they pay a third party whom I don't know?
I logged a ticket with Cell C but forgot the ticket number, when I call them they claim I never logged a ticket with them.
I need that company to refund the money they have *******ly deducted from my account. And I need Cell C to keep their end of the bargain and never to deduct my account *******ly.
