I FEEL DISCRIMINATED BY CELL C
Good morning I honestly feel discriminated hey.. I have contracts with Cell C and they debit every month in my bank account so last month I didn't have cash in my account then decided to deposit the money at ATM where I was visiting which is 80kms away from where I live. I called Cell C to confirm with them that I paid to their bank account and made my reference my account number that they use to debit every month. I was told that they want proof, I took pictures of the slip and sent them to their email. The slip does not show the amount I sent properly because it's old and the ink has faded away but any other information is visible. I called again to confirm that I sent the proof, they told me to go to the bank where I deposited the cash, I did and I was told they can't retrieve slips from the ATM I have to call the company I sent money to they will be able to see it in their system. It's bad because I can't make a bank statement because I don't have an account with that bank. I kept calling to explain my situation and no one seems to care, they said I should have used a different reference, I told them I didn't know and asked them properly to check in their system but they kept telling me about going to the bank. This is devastating because I am going to have penalties and arrears for something I paid for and already i spent R400 on transportation. I am really disappointed with Cell C as it is a big company that probably has advanced technological systems but yet they fail to just check in their system that I paid. Now im going to be debited today n again its going to bounce cause via insufficient funds
I honestly feel hopeless maybe its because im black and im being taken for granted..what breaks my heart is i was trying my level best to keep my credit score up to point so i can qualify for a loan to take my nephew to school as it needs upfront payment now i must forget..
