I bought 30GB data with an aim of sharing the data with my friends but could not do so

I received a message that I could share my Data Bundle MBs with my friends and family on Cell C? Simply dial *112*1# and follow the prompts. I then bought Cell C Data (30GB,30GB Nite) Bundle Once-Off Plan. Unfortunately I could not share the data or even get a refund. I think this is unfair business practice.
