How many times must I deactivate a bundle to stop being charged
I recently upgraded and in my upgrade I no longer need my data bundle for a few months. While upgrading I advised the person in store of this and they said that's fine I just need to deactivate the bundle, which I did just before my new contract kicked in as this was when the new billing would start. I received an sms stating it had been deactivated on 26 September but while looking last night I realised Cell C had reactivated it. I then deactivated it again. I am now going to be charged for another month where I went out of my way to ensure that I wouldn't. I logged this last night and today received a call from a very blunt, uncaring individual at their call centre who said well then I must go in store, they cant do anything. Surely head office should own this and fix it! Now I must pay this due to the inefficiency of Cell C. All my dealing with this company have been terrible in the past few months as when I was upgrading the woman decided it was more important to try flirt with some man that help me finish with my new contract, I sat waiting over 20 mins for her to decide my business was important. Furthermore when my partner and I went to upgrade his contract, the store was closing over 30 minutes early, they had taken all the phones down so none could be looked at and the attitude again was ridiculous. Cell C you are starting to make me want to follow others and deal with more competent and polite companies.
