How many times must a Cell C contract be cancelled before they get the message???!!!

Cell C contract was due to expire 20th March 2017. Gave notice in January 2017 of intention to cancel contract at the end of the contract term (3 months notice).

Cell C informed that 3 months could not be given.

In February 2017 notice was once again given to Cell C and again was told 2 months notice of intention to cancel would not be accepted.

A month before the contract was due notice was ONCE AGAIN (3rd time lucky!!!!!) given.

A month AFTER the contract was cancelled/term of contract came to an end Cell C deducted over R600

I immediately contacted Cell C and told them this contract had been cancelled and that the transaction would be reversed.

The following month Cell C again deducted and the same process was followed: telephone calls to Cell C and contacting the bank to reverse the transaction.

Today (31 May) Cell C AGAIN!!!!!! deducted over R667.99!!!

NUMEROUS phone calls, emails and visits to Cell C stores and Cell C still doesnt seem to understand that this contract WAS NOT renewed.

In terms of the Consumer Protection Act Notice of intention to RENEW needs to be given in writing otherwise the contract expires.

WHAT MORE MUST ONE DO TO GET A CELL C CONTRACT CANCELLED!!!!!!!!!

#CELLC***********:-(

Hi Carol-Lynne

We are sorry to hear that you have received unsatisfactory service. This is definitely not the kind of service we wish to offer to our valued customers.

We have requested one of our team members to assist with the cancellation.
