Just wish to thank Cell C for this awesome product, it has been a real life saver! I had a great experience with the product. Download and upload rates were adequate for my home / home office use. Transfer rates after 12am were a lot faster, so I guess there may be a tiny bit of congestion at the tower during the 7am-midnight period.

There are other mobile data providers that purport to offer a great mobile data service, clearly whose (based on the number of ads online) marketing budget vastly exceeds their network upgrade budget. And to cater for the uptake, they throttle as many services as possible on some of their plans, which can make a person wonder what the purpose of those plans are for in the first place (hint: provider name aptly rhymes with "pain"). I'm so glad to have not experienced the same on Cell C. I've read online that others have not experienced the same great service as I have, but I understand that network congestion can play a big part in the speed a person gets. Guess I am lucky in that regard, at least my experience was leaps and bounds better than that of the "pain" network.

With ADSL being shut down and virtually all 10 Mbps Fibre options occupying an resolute price point, this offers an unmatched service for the sub-R450 price per month. The only other alternative to ADSL and Fibre is mobile data, and this product has filled in that space perfectly for me. Unfortunately I'm sad to hear the product is scheduled to be discontinued at the end of September. I really do hope Cell C continues with the product, or comes up with some new comparable offering for us
