Home Connecta
I have just ported to Cell C and wanted to try out the home connecta flexi tarrif plan unfortunately its not so good and wanted to change back to the tarrif plan I was on. I called the customer care centre I was told there's nothing that can be done to change the tarrif plan and I wanted to port out of cell c due to this issue I was told I can't do that either as to port out you need to send an sms and the home connecta tarrif doesn't allow for sms sending. Lady who I was talking to said I will have to lose my number if I don't want the tarrif.

Thank you for contacting us.
Unfortunately you can't migrate from Home Connecta Flexi to another tariff plan and you can't send SMS's either on the Home Connecta Flexi tariff plan. Alternatively you can purchase a new Cell C sim card, Rica register it under your name and send us the new Cell C number so that we can escalate for a number change to be done in order to remove your number from the Home Connecta Flexi tariff plan.
