Hold on debit order for next three months

Been in an accident which involves me being unable to work and not receiving a salary for the next three months. I contacted Cell C in the hopes of coming to some sort of arrangement only to be told that they can't help me until my payment has bounced...until my account is in arrears...

I don't want my account going into arrears. I'm wanting to be pro active and prevent this from happening. Looking for a short term solution which doesn't involve my debit order being returned which would lead to bank charges, double debits, admin fees and more difficulties in the long run.

Please assist
