High Cancellation fee with valid reason

Why would cellc charge me such a high early cancellation fee. I am currently unemployed and recently became a student. I tried doing the right thing by requesting early settlement in order to settle my debt with them, but the cancellation fee is ridiculous. I might as well just stop paying for the contract and let them struggle to get their money. Please review this cellc
