Extremely Bad Service And In Breach With There Own Contracts: No wonder Cell C is losing customers! Absolute failure, ******* SIM sale, and I dare you to blacklist me.Body:It is no wonder Cell C is losing thousands of customers every single year. Your service is completely pathetic. For more than a week, we have been totally cut off from basic communication because your company is incapable of processing a simple SIM swap.To make matters worse, your *********** branch sold us a SIM card straight off the shelf that was ALREADY REGISTERED in someone else’s name! This is a massive RICA violation and data security breach. Your call centre agents told us to go to our nearest branch—forcing us to drive 55km (a 110km round trip) and waste R500 in fuel—only to be met with untrained staff who couldn't fix a thing. We have called your call centre countless times for a week. We know for a fact that your system records show exactly how many times we have begged for help, yet nobody ever calls back. All you care about is calling people to aggressively push new sales.I dare Cell C to try and blacklist our names for withholding payments on this non-existent service. Go ahead. You will lose disgracefully in a court of law. We have absolute proof of every single phone call, every single travel expense, and every failed attempt to get you to fulfill your contract.Furthermore, a formal complaint is being escalated to the National Credit Regulator (NCR) and the National Credit Bureau for predatory credit practices, alongside the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) for breach of contract. How do you expect to serve people in rural areas when you force customers to drive massive distances, bleed money for fuel, and still give zero service? Cell C is pathetic, and I demand a senior manager fixes this manually today!

Stay away from Cell C.

This is a generic, automated bot response that completely ignores the actual crisis. You have NOT fixed my SIM swap, I am STILL without service, and you have offered zero solution for the R500 in fuel I wasted driving to Bloemfontein because of your call centre's false advice.Do not copy and paste corporate templates while you hold my active contract hostage. I have officially logged this matter with the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) for breach of contract, and I am reporting your predatory billing to the National Credit Regulator (NCR) today. If a human manager does not call my alternative number with an active SIM within 2 hours, the next communication you receive will be from the Ombud. Fix it now!

We sincerely apologise that our previous response did not adequately address the urgency and seriousness of your concerns. We understand that your SIM swap remains unresolved and that you are still without service after being directed to visit a branch, resulting in additional inconvenience and travel costs.

We have noted your request for urgent intervention by a senior manager, as well as your concerns regarding the SIM registration, billing and the assistance you received from our call centre. These concerns require the appropriate team to investigate and provide you with accurate feedback.

We have escalated the matter for urgent attention and requested that you be contacted on your alternative number with feedback regarding the SIM swap and the way forward. We regret the experience you have had and understand your frustration with having to follow up repeatedly.

Kind regards,
Cell C | LS

Thank you for verifying that a human manager is finally reading this. However, admitting that your systems are broken does not solve the fact that I am STILL left without service while paying for a contract you are breaching.
My fuel costs and time wasted are a direct result of your call centre's explicit and incorrect instructions. There is nothing to "deliberate"—Cell C caused this financial loss through gross incompetence.
Since you are a General Manager, use your authority to manually push this SIM swap through right now. I will not patiently sit in the dark while you deliberate. The 2-hour deadline remains. If my line is not active by the end of today, the formal dispute registered with the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) and the National Credit Regulator (NCR) will proceed without further warning. Do your job and activate the SIM.

Your generated automatic questions are also not updated. Go onto your system and look at how many calls where made and emails sent to your so called Team leaders. No response at all.

Headline / Title: PUBLIC WARNING: Cell C blocks corporate emails to protect the CEO from complaints!
Body:
South Africa, beware of Cell C! Not only is their service totally pathetic, but they are actively isolating themselves from the public. I have been stranded without service for over a week due to a failed SIM swap. When you try to escalate your crisis to the senior executives, their official emails (including ***) bounce back with "Address not found" errors. They are deliberately shutting down their digital channels to hide from paying customers and protect the CEO, Jorge Mendes, from facing the consequences of his company's failure!
While they block your emails, their call centre maliciously forces you to drive massive distances to their useless physical branches. I was forced to drive 55km into Bloemfontein (a 110km round trip) wasting R500 of my own fuel, just to find out that their retail stores are completely offline because their official website states: "We apologize for the inconvenience, but our RICA service is temporarily unavailable."
They sold me a SIM card straight off the shelf that was already registered to someone else—a massive RICA violation—and now they are hiding behind broken email servers and generic automated templates on Hellopeter. No wonder they are losing thousands of customers.
I am warning the public: do not sign contracts with Cell C. They will take your money, breach your contract, crash their own systems, and then shut down their email addresses so you cannot reach management. I am exposing this incompetence to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) and the National Credit Regulator (NCR) today. I will not stop until this is resolved!

nearly 15 years ago, and we have been married for 10 years! Yet, their sales team had no problem using our records to upgrade the contract and take our money.
Gift Maifala and the Merchants management team: Stop hiding behind your broken automated scripts. My husband explicitly authorizes me, Jennifer du Plooy, to handle this account. Because of his hearing disability, I demand that all further communication from Cell C be done IN WRITING to our email, or that you manually activate this data SIM today.
We have already wasted R500 in fuel driving a 110km round trip to Bloemfontein because of your call centre's false instructions. We will not stop exposing this disgusting service until our line is active, our records are legally updated, and we are financially compensated for the 3 months of dead service and fuel waste. Look at your system records and call our linked 20-year-old active line: *** immediately!
