Have no control over emergency recharge in contract.

The staff on the line was very friendly and help me to the best of there ability.

But what I find lacking from Cell C is that you can not select the limit or cancel the emergency recharge.

I believe as a contract holder you have the right to limit or cancel the emergency recharge.

Another questions they could not answer is what is the limit on the contract. Does this keep going somewhere there has to be a limit set.

I find it lacking that there is no control over the emergency recharge as a contract holder.

Regards, Frikkie

Dear Frikkie,

Thank you for getting in touch with Cell C.

we have received your review regarding the "Emergency Airtime" and "Limits on contract".

To view and set limit on your line, please follow the instruction below:
Dial *147# >> My Account >> Out Of Bundle  Spend Control >> Manage Out of bundle Spend

For emergency recharge options:
Dial *147# >>  Emergency Recharge >> Airtime Auto TopUp >> Cancel/activate subscriptions.

Hello

Thank you for the reply. But it does not help me.

I do not want the world to see my business. But all I will say is that a family member has the phone and all they will do again is activate it again.
I need to limit or cancel it permanently so that they can not activate it again.

Else I am going to struggle to pay the monthly contract.

Regard,
Frikkie

I also remember on the previous contract I was able to do this to set a manual limit.
That required me to call and set the limit of the Emergency data and airtime.
