Harassment
<p>Calls almost daily from 084145, instant hold music then a sales person comes through from Cell C Direct trying to sell me a contract. I lost my temper after the 3rd call from them, requested they remove me from whatever list I'm on only to have them call me even more frequently. I will be lodging a complaint with ICASA and WASPA as well as engaging my company's legal team. </p>

Not good enough, google '084145' and you'll see how many people complain about this pathetic sales technique. People who have requested to be removed from your call list only to have you call the very next day.
No, I want this service removed. You are in breach of contract and I will use every method at my disposal to ensure the country hears how you operate. Expect a few billboards raised, expect legal action, expect an article in the paper. I wont just bend over and let you shove half an apology inside me. You have interrupted meetings, business calls, family events and one funeral. Im fed up and I will commit to taking you down for this, Im so tired of being harrassed

Just had a call from Cell C apologizing and promising to take me off their call list.
Not sure how they think its a bright idea to call people then immediately put them on hold music. Worst marketing scheme ever.
Do us a favour Cell C, google 084145, you'll see hundreds of complaints that people have been harassed by this number.
I will continue to take legal action, Cell C has violated our rights. Cell C has obtained our numbers *******ly. Cell C has irresponsibly used our contact information.
I will be starting a petition against them and encourage people to join me in stating our displeasure with such a pathetic marketing program.
I began to ask around today and already have 46 people interested in taking this system down. People who have been harassed by this very number. Imagine if I keep at it? How many people can I get?
Cell C wake up and realize you are chasing people away by doing this.

To which I rep**** No. I am not a Cell C customer and I never will be.
Vodacom and MTN dont do this, why are you? And yes, ive received sales calls from Vodacom, but maybe once a year. You harass your customers and I will not stand for this form of marketing. Its ineffective, annoying and I have to actually contact you to stop it. This means its an opt-out program, I dont ever remember opting in or giving your sales team permission to use my number. I also question how Cell C obtained my number in the first place.
