Greenstone Mall appalling customer service

So disappointed with the level of service the staff at Greenstone Mall Cell C shop has - I went there during the week after work as I reside in Greenstone and I know the Mall closes at 18:00 only to find Cell C ladies closed the shop at 17:45 and only when I threatened to report this did they open to assist me in blocking my sim card because my phone was ******. THEN on the morning of the 11th of November, I went to get my sim swap done and asked for my number to be unblocked because I bought a new phone from Telkom being that I no longer wish to be a Cell C customer. Vinah Ngobeni assisted me with the sim swap BUT she was more interested in quickly finishing up with me so she could help a white man because black people don't deserve better service. She then said the sim swap was done and my number would start working by 13:00 that same afternoon. I waited 7 days and my number was still blocked because she didn't follow full procedure in getting my number unblocked this after I told her I had it blocked. I then had to go back on the 18th of November and found her again, only then did she call the call center to have them unblock my number. When I asked if she remembered me being there the Sunday before, she said she did, I then asked her why she didn't call to get my number unblocked, she started rolling her eyes at me, putting her hand on her cheek and just didn't seem interested in why I was so upset because I had a number that was not working for a week all because she didn't follow procedure and was instead in a hurry to help a white man rather than the black woman who spoke Zulu with her and only when I spoke English the 2nd Sunday I went, did she take me seriously. I would like a formal apology from Vinah Ngobeni herself and not the call center people who will call to follow up with me on this matter and being that I too work with customers on a daily, I know to treat all my customers with respect otherwise should a complaint be made against me by any of my customers for rolling my eyes and giving them attitude when being questioned about my wrong doing, I would be given a warning and therefore I would like to be emailed her warning as I think it is unfair that she treats people of her own colour different from how she treats other races. Chances are she has done this before because black people never complain, we just take the abuse from black staff in the retail industry and I for one am furious at her poor attitude towards me, she was not interested in my frustration. Please feel free to contact me for my personal email address so I can get her apology as well as see her warning for being rude to a customer or else I will make sure this gets escalated until I get a response with the above mentioned. Maybe going forward she will learn what customer service is and appreciate that she has a job while companies are busy retrenching because of the economy in the country.

Good afternoon Noluthando

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

We do not support ************** based on a person's race and in any form, we treat and value all our customers equally.

We strive to keep our customers happy and satisfied. This is not the norm or standard of service we want for our customers.

This will be addressed with the store manager and the action to have this kind of behavior rectified will be taken. Sincere apologies for the unsatisfactory service and inconvenience caused.
