Get what you pay for.

Hi

Before I take this up with the Consumer Commission of South Africa and ICASA I would like to afford Cell-C the opportunity to respond and rectify my issue. A month ago I bought 3 GB of data. This data was given an expiry date without any notification of what the expiry date was before I purchased the data. Furthermore, the expiry date for 1GB of data and 3GB of data is the same. I feel that this practise does is against consumer laws. Data is not milk or eggs that can go off, it is a virtual measure of an amount of information. If I purchased 3GB of PREPAID data, I should be afforded a reasonable amount of time to use this 3GB of data. One month is not enough. The practise of rationing data is also unfair to the consumer who paid the full amount for data, yet the consumer is only allowed to use that data for the amount of time that Cell C allows and no refund is granted when the time expires?

I want a refund for the data that I did not use, or I want my data that I paid for. Please respond.
