Mom received a call from Norman, Bissett & Associates For Outstanding money Owed to Cell C for a contract my brother took out on her name,

We disputed this as valid Due to the COntract being CANCELLED At full term of contract on the CellC APP when they offered device For upgrade. NOTE: FULL TERM! and not 3months prior.

according to the APP, the number was converted to PREPAID.

They advised we call CellC and FNB for both to provide Detailed Statements of this to prove it was paid in full.

When i called CellC, i spoke to Lungile and in her words, " We no longer have any information of the account as it was given to the Debt collectors. System just says we must instruct customers to call debt collectors. "..

She refused to listen to my argument and started to get annoyed with me While i demanded this information as its our right to have. the Annoyed Lungile tells me that i cant see whats on the screen in front of her and i should rather go to a store so they can show me what she sees.

This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!! there is an email address on the contract that we never even heard of so how the heck did that get there??

Pathetic Service!! and down right Thievery to thinkg they cant provide us proof for what this outstanding amount is for.

the Debt collectors also do not have these statements on their side like Annoyed Lungile said they do. So another BS story from her.

I asked for a copy of the COntract Agreement at 12 which she said her manager will send and its almost 2pm and still no email

Wonder what CellC is trying to Hide.

Contract start date was April 2016 so i assume April 2018 would have been the End Date of the contract and they coming now after 3 to 4 years later, SELLING the Alleged Debt to these collectors WITHOUT calling/Consulting the client on the paper work
