Full disclosure required from Cell C

This morning I needed to take an airtime advance from Cell C. This is something I do fairly regularly and because I had a few calls to make, I took advantage of the max amount allowed - R40. R40 is a fairly simple number to recharge with from my bank account, Cell C charges a fee of R1.10 for every airtime advance. This morning they gave me the advance of R40 but in R10 blocks. I therefore got charged R1.10 for every recharge. I think this is a plain ripoff and unfair practice. If the bank can give me R40 in one transaction, why must Cell C do it in 4 transactions? Is this their way of disguising theft?
