*****urant Activities at Cell C

<p>In January 2017 I noticed some questionable transactions made on my account by Cell C of just under 90 Rand and quickly reversed the transactions as they were unauthorised and I thought Cell C made a mistake so I went on with my business. Over a month later I noticed another unauthosrised deduction on my account of just under 90 Rand followed by a big transaction of 15 000 Rand. This came as a shock to me as I only have two contracts with Cell C which are not over 400 Rand and which I have had for over three years. I pay for these contracts on a monthly basis without fail, never in the three plus years that I have been a customer with Cell C have I ever missed a payment or breeched my contract but yet Cell C is willing to provide ********** with my information to open up accounts worth 15 000 Rand without my consent.</p> <p> </p> <p>After a long battle with Cell C the accounts opened in my name were closed and my money was reversed. I then asked to be provided with documents used to open these accounts but Cell C refuses the provide me with these documents because they claim it is for the *********’s protection. They did however let me listen to the call recording of the transaction and I am livid. Firstly it was Cell C who made the call to this frauster on a number that I do not own offering this person that they identified as me an upgrade. This person was then asked to verify some personal information, the only information this person got right was my ID number and bank account number and the rest (place of work, home address) were completely wrong yet they still alowed this person to purchace a phone over a call of over 15 000rand and open up several accounts in my name without even verifying my details. I have asked Cell C to let me pay the installements for my two legit contracts instore or for me to pay the outstanding amount in full as I no longer trust them with my bank account details and they have refused. I am ****ed to the highest level of pistivity.</p> <p> </p>
