********** transaction

I was made aware by a consultant at Cell C Campus Square that there is a lady who was trying to open a contract under my name. He was suspicious due to the way the ID looked and they called to verify employment and the call came to me.

Once I knew I rushed to Cell C to enquire further to prevent this from happening. The consultant was very helpful and sympathetic until the manager got involved. Manager named Hosea. This is the name he gave me and refused to give his surname.

I asked the Manager to please either cc me in correspondence sent to Cell C forensic so I can follow up on my case, or to provide me with a reference or contact details or even the documents the lady used to try and open an account. He refused and said that all he can do is send the email to forensic, he does not follow up and they will not open the account at campus square.

My concern was just not Cell C Campus square, it was other Cellc c stores and other stores in general, however the Manger was not sympathetic to my situation.

So I waited hoping I will get some feedback, however after the wait it turns out that the culprit managed to use those document and open up an contract at another Cell C store, I found out via a Cell c debit order.

When I called the Manager at Campus,all he said is that he sent the email to a Micheal Wolley at forensic and he did not follow up as it is not part of his job.

I feel like all of this could have been prevented 1- Cell C not losing out due to a ********** transaction 2- Me not experiencing such and having to now cancel an existing contract .

Im now trying to get assistance as my documents including affidavit was sent to Cell c, but nothing done so they are floating around somewhere.

Now one seems to be able to help, I cant get hold of legal/ Forensic department. Im holding on the line for almost an hour. customer care wants me to start the process again and resubmit however all these documents have been sent.

Cell C this is unacceptable and unprofessional and for the Manager down right RUDE, KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT CUSTOMER CARE.
