********** Port To Cell C
<div>To whom it may concern. </div> <div> </div> <div>I trust this email finds you well. </div> <div> </div> <div style="font-size: 13.001pt; line-height: 140%;">I write to you <a style="font-size: 13.001pt; line-height: 140%;" href="calendar:T5:today">today</a> with complete disbelief of what just happened to me.</div> <div> </div> <div>Thursday (<a style="font-size: 13.001pt; line-height: 140%;" href="calendar:T2:16 February 2017">16 February 2017</a> at 14h06) I received an email with the Following: Hallo. Thank you for your request to Port to Cell C. Your Reference number is ********** ********** CELLC ********** ********** 0. Your Port request is being processed.</div> <div> </div> <div style="font-size: 13.001pt; line-height: 140%;">I was at work and when I finished at 17h00 I received another sms saying its complete. By the time I got home I called MTN they told me my number has been ported and because it was after <a style="font-size: 13.001pt; line-height: 140%;" href="calendar:T1:6pm">6pm</a> I could not speak to the porting department. Within minutes my line has been disconnected from the MTN network. I called Cell C they could not help me. Told me I ported my number and then I told them it's not me that did it they told me they cannot help me. I lost it on the line with them. Later when I calmed down I called again this time I had a nicer consultant and she advised me to block the number to avoid ********** activity from happening because all my banking gets done on my phone. And also told me to call the Port Department in the morning. </div> <div> </div> <div>Friday morning I called the Port Department and the first thing the consultant tells me is that it's my fault and Im responsible for my number. Then he tells me a person named Nicole Ntesbseni from Alberteen (I'm from Grassy Park in Cape Town) did the port and could not give me any ID number or a name of the person who now has my number. Think his name was Bongani because Bongani emailed MTN requesting authorisation for a reversal. That was at 08h49. </div> <div> </div> <div>My concern about this entire incedent is how can this happen? How can someone I don't know do a port without my permission? How can someone with a different ID number port and Rica a sim card? </div> <div> </div> <div>I'm left completely traumatised by the whole ordeal. I had to cancel my bank card get an affidavit at the police station and phone between networks using unnecessary airtime to try and sort this out. Now my network is back and everything I had is gone. And all the consultants the MTN helpline is giving me different stories. The one told me I can get my data back and the other say I can't. This is not fare. I'm so tired of fighting for something I did not do. I'm a victim of some messed up **** or mistake on Cell C's side but I have to pay the price.</div> <div> </div> <div>What are you guys going to do to make this right? How many people has this happened to? This seems like it can be a **** from Cell C or using your network as a scapegoat. I've lost all my data and had to stay out of work to try and sort this mess out. Something I never did. </div> <div> </div> <div>I can't believe this happened. Then when my network was finally back I was told my data and airtime won't be retrieved. After being told I will get it back. I was again forced to purchase additional data to last until the 1st. I spent a total of R160 for calling both networks and purchasing additional airtime and data. This was all not part of my budget. I am so tired of fighting for something I didn't do.</div> <div> </div> <div>I really would like to find out what happened to Cell C's side cos to Rica a sim card proof of address and an ID document should be produced.</div> <div> </div> <div>I trust that someone from Cell C as well as MTN will contact me and make this right. I pray that this does not happen to anyone else. </div> <div> </div> <p> </p> <div>Looking forward to hearing from you.</div>

I still have not spoken to Moses. He keeps phoning at 15h00 when I requested to be called at 17h00 or on my work number. Today I emailed him saying I'm home today so I can be contacted at anytime and no call came.
