********** conversion of a month to month contract to a 24 month contract
I had a 24 Month contract with CellC that expired, I phoned to cancel it and was convinced to leave it into a month to month contract. A year or so down the line CellC unilateral decided to change it into a 24 month contract without my authorisation or approval. When I enquire they tell me about their terms and conditions which they changed. I regard this as a ********** way of putting people into contracts they never signed or agreed to. I never agreed to a 24 month contract and I don’t understand how do the terms and conditions convert my month to month contract without my consent. Why not cancel my month to month contract instead of deciding for me and put me into a 24 month contract? This is a ********** activity of the highest degree by a Company.
One thing for sure this 24 months contract will expire and you are certainly going to lose me as a customer and many other customers you decided to unilaterally put into a 24 months contract. You will never grow as a Company and you will remain where you are right now if you continue with this practice of changing your T&C to suit your narrow minded business interests and disregarding Customers needs.
This was my first and last contract with CellC. I’m a customer of the big 2 service providers for decades and I have never experienced such!
