********** contract opened

I was checking my credit record as I normally do every 3 months or so only to find that it has gone down because a Cell C contract has been opened in my name. i have never opened a Cell C contract or agreed to a cellphone contract with Cell C. I then went to the Menlyn Park Cell C store to enquire and ask how this contract was opened. I was then told that indeed there's 2 contracts (2 cellphones) in my name and ID number. This contracts were opened in Gateway in Durban on the 13th of July 2017. I have never lost my ID or been to Durban so I couldn't understand how a contract was opened and approved without my ID. I was asked to get an affidavit from the police so I case can be opened by Cell C. I got the affidavit and gave it to a lady called Lydia from the Menlyn Park store, she made a few calls and after over an hour she told me that they she has to send the documents to another person who will give a reply by the end of the day. The day went by and no one called to say anything to say, i called the store back and she said the reply will come after 48hours. Now my credit record is saying that I'm in arrears because this contract was opened using wrong account details and now it looks like i'm missing my payments which is now affecting my credit score. i couldn't even get a new cellphone contract with Telkom because of this. someone from Cell C opened this contract **********ly using my details because they were not supposed to open the contract without my ID and now its messing up my credit record and Cell C is dragging its feet to fix it.
