********** Cell C contract

On 21 June 2021 someone opened a Cell C contract on my name at the Rivonia Village branch in Johannesburg. I'm in Cape Town. When I saw money being deducted from my account I immediately contacted Cell C to query. I told them I've never opened a contract with them. The person who opened the contract had all my detail ie: work address, banking details, ID number. Cell C advised me to go to police station to get an affidavit. I've emailed this plus the other details they requested to them. After they did their investigation they send an email saying the matter has been resolved. That was in October 2022. Today Friday 20 2023 I received another message from their lawyers, CSS, that I owe them R22 346.10. Nobody at the Cell C call center can assist me. This is reflecting bad on my credit record. I'm at my wits end as I'm being sent from pillar to post with regards to this issue. I've been struggling for almost a year to get this thing sorted and when they said it was sorted it just popped up again. I can't understand why Cell C cannot resolve this and who is the consultant that opened the contract in the first place.
