********** account
In March 2014, an account(***) with cell c was opened using my identity without my consent. I called Cell C 3 times to find out about the account and I was told that such an account does not exist. My first communication with cell c was on 2 April 2014 and spoke to Siphesihle Cele. Around September 2014, Cell C contacted me through their collections department (Nomonde Mavuso) to inform me of an amount that was overdue on my account. however I informed this person that the account did not belong to me. That person never returned to me. 2 weeks ago I went to Cell C to open a data contract with them and was told that I still owe Vodacom an amount of R70 000 of which the account was opened around the same time as that of Cell C. I was requested to bring a letter from Vodacom to show that, that ********** account was closed of which I did. Upon doing so, I was then told that I owe Cell C some money of which Cell C's legal department (Tania) have verified that it was a ********** account. I'm spending a lot of money on prepaid data which I would not be spending if these people knew what they were doing. Please assist.
