***** Query

I got a notification from my credit check that there was a credit check done in my name by cell c. When I logged into my credit check profile, I found that there's two contracts taken in my name. I don't know how my identification number and bank account was acquired by these ********** and why would cell c allow these ********* take out two contracts in my name.

I called the cell c customer Centre and I was told to email their ***** department. I also went to a cell c franchise and I was told a iPhone 13 pro 256G and a Samsung S22 were taken out in my name. I have since emailed the ***** department and attached the relevant documentation.

I want to know how was this allowed to happen and it must be in writing.
