***** cell phone account opened on my husband's ID

I am a cell c customer and bought a cell c router with data that was on special about 2 months ago, I told my husband about it and he was also interested in the special so he called cell c to find out about it and got rejected because he was told that he owes cell c R 1500.00 and that the cellphone was delivered around May 2017 in Soshanguve, we currently live in Ballito KZN, he was told to submit his ID document and an affidavit explaining that the he did not take up a contract with cell c and that a case will be logged, he submitted his documents around June 2017 in Ballito junction cell c shop and went back to find out about the progress and was told to call the ***** department as they couldn't do anything at the store, hes been calling cell c from June 2017 and they have been taking him from one person to the other and even today we dont know what is the status on that account and if a case has been logged, no one has contatced him from cell c to give an update, we have recently app**** for a bond and the banks are still waiting on Cell C to clear the account but we are not getting any help from them. We might lose the house if Cell C does not resolve the matter as soon as possible.......Frustrated.
