***** case - NO RESPONSE - CELL C DOESNT GIVE A ****!!!

<p>Weeks ago I logged a a HelloPeter complaint about Cell C listing me for debt of over R12000.00. I had indicated that I had never had a Cell C contract. I requested copies of the contract, proof of employment verification and copies of the bank statement I would have needed to submit. I then received a call back from Nelly Mamotheti, who did a security check with me (which I failed because the only valid information they had was my ID number. I was then told by Nelly that this entire situation is my fault. It is my fault that I got listed, my fault that Cell C did absolutely no form of verification and that Cell C cannot be held responsible for recklessly providing cell phone contracts to people with only an ID number. Following the disgusting manner I was treated by Cell C employee (who represents your Social media team), she asked me to send through a copy of my ID, proof of address and an affadavit to ***. I proceeded to do this on 26.04.2016. And to absolutely no one's suprise, I have heard NOTHING. I emailed Nelly again asking her for a response (I received no out of office notification), she simply ignored my email. Once again - Cell C has listed me for debt, they did not call me to collect this debt prior to listing me, they cannot prove that they did any form of verification before opening this account (so who knows if there even is an account or if Cell C was simply taking a chance hoping that I would be stupid enough to simply pay them. And if this is the case, how many other Cell C ***** victims are there out there???), I got blamed for Cell C's negligence, after complying with the requests for documentation I have received no feedback, after following up with Cell C, I have been ignored. Cell C has to be the worst service provider out there. They are clearly hiring random people off the street who are given a script and have no idea how to treat ANYONE except as a ********, and they continue to take ZERO accountability for their wrong-doing!</p>
