***** at Cell C

I have been getting chase emails and text messages from Cell C external debt collectors. The worst part is everyday it’s a different agency representing Cell C asking me about a debt I know nothing about.

I have more than once said I have never engaged in any financial agreement or a contract with Cell C. I have sent a copy of my I.D accompanied by a sworn affidavit and sent it to their collectors but nothing is being done. Instead different collectors ring me further asking me when I’ll pay. First all Cell C should have controlled systems to know exactly who took up a contract and how. I do not appreciate the harrasment I’m getting from this organization. I’m a victim of identity theft and Cell C should conduct an internal investigation as to why this happened or is happening because I doubt I’m the only one experiencing this.

I’ve played my part in vindicating myself and my fear is this will tarnish my healthy credit rating.

It is disappointing as well that I’ve never received a call from Cell C directly & I not comfortable with sharing my information to third party organizations especially after being hit with *****. I am hoping we reach the bottom of this as soon as possible. For a big organization I’m pretty much disgusted by their dealings
