My wife clicked on a facebook quiz and when prompted to receive her results she clicked yes. At no stage did she supply her cell number or network details. After clicking yes she was informed that she was subscribed to a service. She immediately contacted Cell C and was told how to cancel the service which she did straight away. A month later it turns out she was billed R200 for a service she had cancelled. Cell C claim it has nothing to do with them, yet they are the ones taking the money. They claim it is Mira Networking who are billing and are at fault. Mira Networks claim not to have the cell number on their system nor are they billing for the service. When she dials *133*1#, the service indicates that she is not subscribed to any services.
This comes down to one thing- Cell C are committing ***** and are *****ing money from their customers. No one at Cell C is prepared to own up to the problem. Any attempt to get through to a manager is met with the news that are either in a meeting or in the canteen. Really?!?
