To Whom It May Concern.

In the beginning of the year I Received a call from Cell C giving me a deal on a tablet fro only R100.00 per month.

I took the deal and shortly after received one simcard and the tablet. Although I never use the simcard there is a problem.

The first few months were fine where they only deducted R100 - R 194.00, but then Cell C started to bill me over R1000.00. I pulled back the money instantly and so on a weekend I decided to call in and see what is going on. After a huge struggle, a call centre agent told me that I have two simcards and that the one they are billing me over R1000.00 I have to pay or they will “cut the service”. I told the person that I only have one simcard and only received one simcard and that there must be something wrong as I switch the cellular service off and only use the phone/ simcard over WIFI, so there is no possible way that I could have made the charges over R1000.00. The call centre agent told me that she believes it is ***** and she will then get someone else to phone me back to resolve the problem. Only a week later someone phoned just to ask me why I have not been paying my account, I told that lady as well that I have phoned and that the call centre person told me she believes that it is *****, she then said “okay” and she will get someone else to phone me back.

Up until this day, every month Cell C is still deducting over R1000.00 and every month I have been pulling it back as I never signed anything regarding two simcards and neither that Cell C has the Authority to deduct more that R 100.00. I sent my Boyfriend a please call me from the number I received from Cell c, and it showed another person’s name. I am a busy person and I can not phone Cell C myself, nor go to a Cell C store as I have tried and the person told me he can not find any accounts on my name. Why should I do Cell C’s job by thing to sort out this situation?

Please understand that I can not take calls during working hours, so I would appreciate a call centre agent to call me after 16H00 in the afternoon.
